Here's a couple pics of the plane debris on the NE face of Mt. Washington at 5000' elevation or so. More can be found in the avalanche meadow below.

I was up there about 2 weeks ago. Reached snow around Lena Forks campsites. South Coulier - trail up to base of climb had off and on snow. Coulier still filled in well with snow. North Brother - Up the East Fork of Lena Creek had snow turning to "fun" bushwack at end of the valley. From the South Brother summit the Great Basin still looked to contain alot of snow.

Flying Ned thanks for the info on the brothers. I have been thinking the same about the Great Basin route. Note: Photo from a couple years back.

I've been up there a few times this year cross-country skiing up the road. Just checking out the area and possible routes to do. Good views of Mt. Washington, Constance, and the Brothers.

Here is a shot of the brothers from the east just beyond trap pass. Photo was taken on April 22, 2006. The road is blocked by a fairly large fallen tree about 5 miles before the pass.
