  1. hey i'm heading to city this wed. till the following wed. just seeing if anyone is going to be out there. My boyfriend works out there and i'm going to have days i wanna climb but he'll have to work.....i can follow anything and i lead 5.10 c/d sport and 5.9 trad (some 10's but that was at the creek).

if anyone wants a ride i have an open seat as well.

  2. Hey all, I am heading out to Whitefish/eureka area at the end of this week. I haven't been to that area in awhile. so i am wondering if there are some places to climb. Sport and moderate trad (although I am unfortunately low on gear).

    Thanks a bunch,

    brienne

  3. thanks i'll check some of those out.

i heard once of something called "6 feet under" or something that was supposta be good. have not seen it around though....

loved that show...not really funny but still super good.

  4. Of course you could have just settled for having "remind me to relay my neck" tatooed on your forehead.

But it would have had to be backwards, otherwise it would look like Sanskrit in the morning.

haha. it wouldn't feel as great though. and i wanted it to be a bit more hidden then the forehead. great suggestion though.

  5. On my way home today I drove past a HUGE branch/half of tree, that completely coverered a full size van and passport. Both totaled. All due to wind.....crazy.

yeah i totally saw that too...was the one you're talkin about in nopo?

  6. Some people (myself included) have found that an occasional cleanse helps lower or get rid of sugar cravings. Like many things it’s not for everyone but I’ve found it helped the cravings the couple times I’ve done it in the past. I’ve used the “Master Cleanser” otherwise known as the “Lemonade Diet” with success. I like this one because as I’ve found I can actually function while doing it. Not going to be doing any heavy activity but at least you can go to work.

hey lady, i've done this cleanse a couple of times once for 12 days and i think once for 16 days....if you have any questions about it...it did totally squash my sugar cravings and has caused me to eat super healthy....about to go back onto the cleanse.

  7. no, I-rock is not mentioned at all in the new Olson guide.

It covers Broughton, Rocky, Carver, Beacon, and French's.

It includes some slightly better topos, and a lot more pictures. But it doesn't include the section in the back on the more obscure/adventure areas, or the gorge ice.

Also, it does not list the FA information anymore either

sounds like a step down to me, that old adventure section was really cool, same with having the ice in there... wtfs up with this new breed of shitty oregon books now :(

it is my understanding that this book is almost like a "sample" and another addition will be coming out after six months or so.

  8. :laf: I don't remember too much from that night either Jim :laf::brew:

I think it was Kris who was beating everyone... Brie is that right?

Jim you will always be The People's Champ!

by chris i think you mean Allison....i do believe she was there till sunrise kickin ass...come to find out she has a small addiction to air hockey.

I'll try my best to be there! Last year was fun.

  9. sooo its one of my climbing partners b-day coming up and he's just getting into lead climbing. i want to get him a pair of nuts. (i'm going with two because i don't want to go overboard). so i'm wondering which sizes are used the most and would be good as duplicates since he'll probally buy a set of nuts soon.

    thanks much!
