I've had good luck with Garmont boots on my duck feet.

They changed to a larger body and buttons in 2005, also weighs more. Everything else about them is the same. If you look around, many online dealers are still selling off stock of the old body style.

Yep, you're right. They can be found on sale for about $240, or you can get deals when buying two and try to pass on the deal to your fellow climbers. The "blem" is too small to even notice unless holding it at just the right angle in just the right light and was obviously a product of the crappy box it was shipped to me in. But I thought I would mention it anyways. And why wouldn't this be under warranty? It certainly comes with a warranty card and copy of receipt for you to mail in.
