Pup and I did attempt the Kautz route on the Deer this past summer. I had a great time and we never got close to the summit. Pup got sick and we turned around and headed down the mountain. I had a good time and missing the summit did suck but pup was having problems with the altitude and so the following day we headed out. I messed up the route on the way out and he never bitched or complained... we both got out alive and will live to climb another day. He's a little slow... never bothered me. Made me feel strong
... Enjoyed the trip and had a great time. Learned lots of beta for the route and would do it with him again... as long a we had an extra day at high camp...... the Kautze route and high camp at 11K is a bitch... he's a good guy and I would climb with him again if he wanted to climb. Good guy. -
Fuzzy.... this is the real story... We love the mountains and will do what ever it takes to enjoy them..,,,, I have climbing partners who have plenty and others who don't... we all get the same mountains though... love them just the same.

what is the point of this post?.... We go into the wild because it is what we want to do. We feel alive and one with whatever we come in contact with. I love the mountains......period. I will always love the mountains and the stars that you can't see shit of when in the city. What the hell does that have to do with money. We all .....well I do anyways... head to the mountains because I like to. If you don't..... well I respect your feelings but... they are not mine.

Matt has a great point... you don't give up Geneva for the hell of it. Bush is a dick and it shall be proved in history... now is not the time. I don't feel that it's AMERICAN TO SEARCH AND DETAIN ANY MOTHERFUCKER BECAUSE BUSH FELLS IT'S THE RIGHT THING. We need to get back to where we did things because they where the right things... not for some fucked up reasons that have been proved to be purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre bullshit.

How is this frightening?.. We have known all along that the guy is a dipshit and rules by fear and bullshit. The interview was great... I don't really care if Bill got pissed.... don't blame him for it. Wish a few others could do the same when it comes to right wing bullshit.

I've had great experiences with Toshiba's... Nothing to fancy and nothing to expensive but... they seem to work just great. HP.. SUCKS ASS>>> that is my experience.

Climbed emmons this year and had a partner get sick on the kautz route. Want to climb it again this year.. don't really give a shit if it's the DC or whatever... I just want to climb. If your interested... please let me know as soon as possible. Best, G

I think it's funny a little bit... What the fuck is wrong with the sarkens Don... These climb verticle ice and are not that big a pain in the ass the rest of the time. As from above...paid less than 100 after tax... whats not ok about that?... You tell me. Love them for most climbing
