Welcome to the PNW! I'm looking to expand my available partner pool this summer, and am also an ICU nurse with tons of weekdays off. I'd be interested in anything granite like Index, Darrington, WA Pass mostly in the 5.10-5.11- range. Keep me in mind for this summer. Alex

I work three 12-hr. shifts a week in Bellingham and usually prefer to climb weekdays to avoid the crowds. I have a 2- and 4-year old at home and so I'm limited as far as availability, but I will probably be getting out about once per week at least to Index this summer/fall. Also focused on WA Pass area this season. Been climbing 13 years, solid on mid-5.10. Looking for more long-term partners. -Alex alexkowalcyk24(at)gmail(dot)com 2-five-3-224-22-one-5

These are an unused pair of Sum'Tecs I am selling since I will rarely be doing the type of climbs these have a niche for. I hung on my fire escape and did a few pull-ups with these, but never swung them on ice or anything. They are slightly marked up in some spots just from storage/moving them. I sharpened the picks and spikes to be as sharp as my Quarks, since these don't come very sharp. I'm sure you could actually climb water ice with these, but I prefer my Quarks. These plunge well and would be awesome for a climb like North Face Mt. Shuksan. Asking $235 (shipping included) for the pair. e-mail: alexkowalcyk24(at)gmail(dot)com phone: two-five-three-224-2215

My wife and I just had our second kid, and I am realizing some of this big wall stuff might not get put to use very soon. SMC Prusik-Minding Pulley, plastic sheave. never used, only ever carried as a spare pulley. Great for glaciers. Petzyl Fixe Pulley, also never used and only carried as a spare pulley. Aluminum sheave. Assorted pitons: 6 Black Diamond Lost Arrows and 2 Camp sawed-off angles. Beaks/Peckers: 4 BD Peckers, 1 Moses Tomahawk. Various hooks: 1 BD Cliffhanger, sharpened to a point, 2 BD Grappling Hooks, 1 BD Talon hook, 1 wide cam-hook. $145 for all or make offer on individual items. Big bro is lightly used and has obvious scuff marks from much groveling up off-widths. Metolius cam has small area of tarnish on the outer axle. Wild Country new-generation forged friend #4. Great alternative to the BD old-school #3.5 or slightly smaller than the new BD #4, and much lighter. $70 for whole lot or make offer on individual item. I bought this tent for an Aconcagua expedition that isn't going to happen. I only ever set it up once in my living room. I live in PA now, so would have to ship it. Asking $300, includes shipping.

I'm in Tacoma, heading to Index partnerless on Wednesday. My truck's clutch is being replaced at the garage tuesday, hopefully it will be done so I can get to Index Wednesday. Anybody want to rope up? Weather looks iffy rest of the week, this would be my only day to climb. I onsight 5.10c. Will otherwise be climbing with my silent partner.

kinda short notice, but does anyone have tomorrow free to go up and do something alpine rock. anything is better for me than not climbing. 5.4-5.10? we can go up tonight late, sleep at TH and hit it car-car. I don't have time to do multi day camping approaches. got the car, rack, rope, and I'm fit. Anyone have off and want to climb tomorrow? Or if not up for alpine, know anything worthwhile that's north facing?

Who wants to go? I'll be there by 11:00 am.
