  1. As a student of Climatology, I have observed that for every scientist that supports the "Scientific Theory" of global warming. Just as many disagree. A "Scientific Theory" isn't just someone making a hunch though. This comes about after years of observing, recording data, coming to an opinion on a matter. Then testing it, and seeing if all adds up. This is a huge matter that is intensly debated & divided by prominent scientists worldwide. I think there is a problem. But I agree with Jmace that there are more pressing issues to "Worry" about. Unless your only worry is climbing snow in August. By the way, that is a great photo AlpineDave

  4. The authors of FOTH are responsible for maintaining summit registers on many peaks in WA. When filled, they are sent to the state archives. I was up on Maude a couple weeks ago. I didn't find a register, but found a shard of PVC pipe. Others on this forum have detailed a fondness for destroying or hucking summit registers. Fuck! I didn't know that was a summit registar . I thought it was a poop tube full of toilet paper! Sorry guys. I think some of the ink rubbed off on my ass, if you want to take a close look, you might be able to decifer some of the writing.
  5. It's not too late for this w/e.. Lets do a paradise approach tonight, melt some snow, sleep a little, and GO! Doesn't matter what route.. "we'll pick the one with the best conditions and least ammount of ppl" From Kautz to ID. Send me a message! My bag is packed!
  6. Or you can go "Climbing" to practice it.. But good joke
  7. Case any in, I'm getting increasingly hard in Moores behind. Feeling left and right getting open is a crucial thing. Time for lockstep marching. Disdain expressed despite for having hurt the winger, dissent isn't good these days.
