  1. I've had lower back issues for years which at times has lead to muscle spasm. The only thing doctors did was prescribe meds take xray and cost me money. Finally had a doc look at me last fall said it was probably SI problem. I didn't know what the hell SI joint was. Xray showed arthrtic change in the SI joint. I guess causes pain and stiffness on my left presenting it self as muscle spasm some times. I thouht back and I had injured my back 26 years ago on a motorcycle. I have been doing the following and it helped me.

Supplements- Move free, concentrated cherry and fish oil

    Foam roller ahhh

Changed around my workout regiment some added some more prehab train smarter

After a long day with a pack I'm feeling alot better than I have in the past.

Hope you find some thing that helps.

  2. Since we were up there at the same time I'll add a few pics to the pile no late 70s early 80s barbarian stuff sorry.

  3. Trip: Leigh Lake/Snowshoe Peak MT - Lake Side Ice -

    Date: 2/12/2012

    Trip Report:

Joe aka PU and I decided it was time to get back to the Cabinets for some ice. We had climbed there two years ago and knew we had to go back. TR Link We climbed a fun 110M line this time. Spindrift was the word of the day. There is a lot of ice in there. When you live in N Idaho the Cabinets are your Cascades. If you want to see the photos better here's the link https://picasaweb.google.com/109162604654342907347/SnowshoePk21212?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCOHihKG-sdiICQ&feat=directlink

    Gear Notes:

    Usual suspects

    Approach Notes:

About 4.5 miles one way you can't get up Leigh Creek road right now. We booted and snow shoed the last bit. Skis would be the ticket.

  4. Sounds like an old ice comp link up to me! Was there the 21&22 Flanders looked 4w high clearance good to go then now? Plenty of other stuff every thing is fairly close so hell make up your own link up! Hang over, mummy II, scepter and G1 were in great shape when we were there and fatter now I'm sure. Theres great stuff in flanders if you can drive in there for sure. Hell just start at G1 or Amphitheater on you first day and the follow the path up!

  5. Giver hell if a low lander from N Idaho can go there for his first time and do Lib Ridge. Then surely some green team can go and do Ptarm. We went in May 06 from Ipsut no snow shoes and we had no tracks beat in to follow. The Seattle group always seems like the all knowing Oz when it come to Big R suprised the nay sayers aren't all over this. Its their mountain don't ya know! All joking aside I hope you have a good trip. You never know unless you go!

  6. John the old squeeze trick is what I thought too while out climbing last weekend just wasn't sure if it would be enough. Sounds like worked for you I'll try that first then if that fails mini FS biners. Thanks everyone for the input.

  7. Thanks just curious if others had the same problem. I can try cord they are suppose to be used direct clip according to BD. May be dumb question but are you not using clip just loop on tool girth hitch? I may cut originals off an put on nano or mini fs like I put on my homemade rigs never had problem.

  8. I've had my spinner leashes for two seasons have never fallen on them or even weighted them fully. I have on three ocasions twice in one day have the wire gate get popped out then has to be put back in. Mostly a incoveinence but could result in a lost tool. This happened evertime when swinging with slack in the leash not tight at all. Has any one else had this happen. Probably will change out stock clips with the smallest wire gates I can find. BD tools cobras too not others
