I can't wait for fall and winter. I like summer OK, but skiing and ice climbing are my favs.

AF are you confusing Wild Bill Horsecock with Buffalo Bill Cody? It doesn't really matter. I don't think either of them are buried at the high altitude aclimitizazation center on the tippy top of Pikes Peak.

Cool thing to do around Edmonton is go to the Rockies.
It would be even cooler to go in winter.

I think that the idea of aclimitizating by drinking beer in Leadville will work great. You could also trick your body into thinking it is higher than the 10,500 ft. of Leadville by smoking. This an advanced altitudimizating technique wich I'm sure is not practiced by those lame PAY-TO-CLIMB companies. Good luck on Cho Oye-como-va.

I've got a question. Why do people (male/female, fat/thin) insist on wearing sandals and socks when it's raining? I mean it's lame enough when it's sunny, but it's raining and your cotton socks are getting wet!

I can understand the point of people who don't like summit registers, but aren't there like 10,000 things with more impact on your 'wilderness experience"? Ex. fire rings, micro-trash in bivy sites, trails themselves, human p00p, T paper, other climbers, rap slings, bolts, fixed pins.....
I just fail to see any reason to get your panties in a bunch about a can on top of a summit when there are plenty of other worthy targets for cleanup.

Snapfish makes everyone who wants to view your album register with them. It's not hard to gie them a fake registration, but it's still a pain in the ass.
