Are there any cool coffee shops or bookstores, yoga studios, Co-Op grocery stores to hang out in on rest days other than the Strip?

i caint think of 'any cool coffee shops or bookstores, yoga studios, Co-Op grocery stores' at all on the strip. there is plenty a malls to crawl (like across from the pirate themed casino whatever thats called). course you can always just go get humped in pahrump and call it good.

Limbaugh worked for the Kansas City Royals before getting heavily into political commentary. I watched several episode of ESPN's show and his prior comments showed a good knowledge of the game and most of the time the other guys agreed.

and this has what to do with his asinine comments about a football player?

What is the worst thing you ever rappelled off of?

splain how this darwinawardwinner behavior is sumpin you wanna chestbeat about?

risk taking behaviour has been shown in many species to correspond to increased desirability of mates smileysex5.gif

so am i to assume you do these 'risk taking' rappels in front of an audience of ovulating hot chicks? otherwise whats the point? maybe as a half time show at the local high school football game?

why do they wear out so fast? i got a pait of asics about 6 months ago and they are ruined...flat out trashed. pisses me off that a shoe hyped to withstand the rigors of trail running cannot last a year.

ive been using asics running shoes for over 20 years. theyre no better or worse than other top brands like saucony brooks nike adidas et al. but they do have notoriously thin forefoot soles.

what model did you trash in 6 months and what mileage did you put in?

and can you lay off the foul language already? rolleyes.gif

I'll be at pub club tonight, smart guy. I'm not the one who hides behind anonymity.

no. you are the smart guy who launches a 'personal attack' against a guidebook author. tries to enlist others to do the same. then gets upset when others wont agree. cry.gif

    which pub club?

I started a discussion that had to do with some of my personal observations, a discussion I was encouraged to start by some of my friends. However, you turn things into personal attacks and insults that have nothing to do with the discussion.

i call bullshit. i see nowhere in that thread where i wrote any 'personal attacks and insults'. though i do note that someone erased my comment that grades are basically binary: either you can climb it or you cant. i also note that you have insulted me in your post. not clever. or wise. whatever. hellno3d.gifwazzup.gif

  8. modulators continue to confuse fukin-which-you with spray. spray is a lot like chest beating. like talking smack bout sending some route or shit like that. it is not the fukin-which-you shit talk like 'mixed climbing is for fags' kina statement. mmmmkay?

they say that differing philosophies come down to misunderstanding of vocabulary. case in point. savvy?

paul tergat broke the world record for the marathon in berlin. he was supported. aid stations provided fluids are regular intervals. does it matter to anyone?

I think there is a clear difference in that suppoort in a Marathon is standard. He raced, comepted, and won within the standard.

I am only asking opinions. There clearly is no standard in this realm, or is there? Is it an alpine pursuit? Or a road race? Maybe neither?

support in ultra-marathons is pretty standard too. for the wonderland trail there is no set race obviously. but support for longdistance events is pretty standard. only when support is NOT used is it noteworthy (example: marathon du sables).
