Long blond hair and quite good looking! Totally a wonderful person! She would be more that happy to help you guys out. Have fun! I'm hoping to get down there next month for a week!

Trails for a workout needed

Teminal, Excellent points and every word understood! I am just starting out and have a few experienced friends who are going to help me. But I never can get enough info. I sponge everything that I can get. If you have anything more to tell it would be more than welcome! Thanks -
Hood River Oregon is an awsome place! I visit there every July for the Gorge games! The best place to climb (in my opinion)would be Smith Rock. It's about two hours south, it's one of my fav places to climb! Weekends are a bit busy though. I know there are some local climbers who will have other places to go that might not be such a drive. I'll be going by Hood river on my way to Smith many times this Spring and summer and you are more than welcome to join in. Just pm me when you get in and we'll hook up.

Trails for a workout needed

I love trail running! I try to run up at Tiger and Cougar as often as I can. As with weights I train about 5-6 days a week. less when I have my kids.. The trail you're speaking of on Tiger,6/12 summits do you or is there a way to get this on paper? That sounds like a solid day of trails that I would be interested in. Thanks!!! -

Oh, you should see my face! I have a nice gash on my chin, My bottom lip was split and my forhead also was home to a nice bloody lump. My knee hit the Ice rapping down a slick piece of ice. That was my fault. I was in aw of my first Multi pitch Ice climb. John took a pict after my face grinding day, maybe he'll post it here for everyone to see just how ugly I am.. It was like a war zone belaying that day!

Thanks for all your help! Although is it really good to suffer sooo much. I am trying to be easy on my knees. ACL replacment surgery last June has slowed me down a bit but not my enthusiasm. I like Mailbox! It's been a couple years since I went up that one. Forgot exactly the location but I never forgot the thigh burn. In a downpoor up that trail. Had a blast comming down though!! Any time you want to go up let me know and I'm there!!! -
If for some reason I don't head on up to Lilooet, I'm up for the drive to Smith!!! Small car great gas mileage! But I do hope to get back on the ice though...

You could also check out Mountainmadness.com they have classes that cover everything. I had my intro to rock climbing with them and had a blast! They are local.

I was hoping someone could give me some info on a long day hike that would give me a good workout. I'm in the planning stages to do some alpine climbing. Rainer, Adams, Hood and Shasta, not necessarily in that order but those are on my "to do" list for this spring and summer. I hiked up Mt. Si on Monday and it was a fair workout. I did it in about 80minutes, without a pack up to Haystack. I thought about caring a pack but I've read that it's not necessary to do so. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I'm free monday! Still working off a knee injury from Ice climbing up at Lillooet but that didn't stop me! What's a little pain anyway...

It's a free weekend! I'm up for anything!! If Smith is in the stars, let's do it!! If a hike is all we can come up with, well ok, Just make it a good one! Anybody willing to take me Ice climbing, I'm green in that area but I'm hoping to add that to my resume. How about some single track on my hard tail! Well, I'll be on my hardtail........what you ride is up to you. You know that just didn't sound right.....

How about Mailbox Peak? Now that's a workout 3800' in 2 miles...and some Dr. Suess to read when you top out... Mailbox is great!!!! E-mail me and I'm there!!!!!! Or for any other hike for that matter

OK, Ice climbing sounds great!! Only one problem, I havn't any geer any no one to show me the ropes (ice). Climbing Ice was (is) on my "things to do" list for this winter. If you are experienced in ice and are willing to take on an enthusiastic rock climber, I'm THERE!!!!!!!!

Lookin for a Bouldering/Sport Climbing Partner!
Rocksanyone replied to MarshMan19's topic in Climbing Partners
My partner left me for a woman!!! Can you believe that?!?! I was last climbing at 10-11 before my knee problems. Now that I have a new knee I'm more than ready to get back on the rocks! I've been training at the gym nearly every day this past fall and winter. A girlfriend down in California has been rubbing it in that she's been climbing trad down at Joshua tree this past month and is there right now. Happy for her but I'm just a little jealious. I'm off work by 3:30pm and free every other weekend. Kids the other weekends. But I take them climbing too. -
How about Feb 21st pm thru 23rd? Weather permitting of course. Possibly longer. I'm in need of some climbing!!!
