i think it is a typo and they used the red's measurment for both the degree's and the verticals...(you also have to note that there are 2 yellow boots too, the vertical, and the expedition)

it aint my feet...my arms are small and long...that aint good for OW...at all... plus i haven't climbed in 5-6 months...so i am not exactly strong right now...

damnation kicked my ass this week! sheesh... us skinny boy s have difficulties with that wide stuff... i layed back most of it...

that is all and well with sport climbs and well protected tratd routes...but ratings are important for less protectable climbs where a fall can kill you easily... that point is unavoidable...i agree that grades are fucking dumb...but they are necessary so that we know where we are capable of pushing our limits when the gear might be less than stellar...

my 19th B-day (in Canada) was the night before my Geology final...i didn't go to sleep adn went to the test drunk and still got an 83%- 91 in the class

take DDD i will tak emy chances with a sketchily protected 5.8-9...but something in the 12's i will die... that is what i mean... fuck i am not just gonn try and free green dragon...ya know? it's kinda improtant to knwo what you are in for...

that makes sense... lets get even farther away form the original ratings (yosemite) i havne't climbed that many crag spots, but the only one i see as right on is index...some of the older stuff in leavenworth is there too, but lots of the newer stuff is kinda soft...i just like index cause i know where i stand on any given climb...i dont have to take into account 'softness'
