WAHOO!!!!!! Welcome.....I am a new member as well! Just need to get out there again.....sheesh
-
Just got back from New Mexico/Arizona and running errands in Eugene. Forced to take two days off for every 21 days worked......I think I might be in this region for a while now, it's getting really dry out there....Don't worry, I liked your take on it E.

I love all'yall..so there....
-
I drink beer AND climb!!!!!!!!
-
O.K., O.K. all beer is good, like SK said, if it's cold and I'm hot, I'll drink it. I'm partial to Moose Drool and Guinness if I'm going to be a big spender....
-
I've been around the world and back again....PBR still ROCKS!
-
I've said it before and I'll say it again.....to each his/her own.....but I do believe that PBR reigns true!

I LOVE YOU NORMAN...

YES....cell phones can be instrumental but only as a last resort. If you climb responsibly you won't ever need to use it (unless to save another party, of course) LEARN TO READ AND STUDY THE WEATHER AND THE GOOD OLD MAP/COMPASS, hell, study the mountain itself...if you show respect, respect you will get. I think those on Rainier should have done the D.C. route first TG, don't blame yourself...as for the Hood folks, that is a damn shame.

Thanx Timmy and Jon for this steller site...you guys rock! PBR forever!!!!!!!!!!!! Great party, by the way!
-
Thanx folks!!! I am still ridin' high!

Thanks for the info again...taking it all down. This place is so friggin beautiful! I'm in John Day for the duration of the season. Actually I am really only stationed there for the summer and if the helirappel program is anything like the Hotshot program, we will be flying all over hell fighting fires all summer long (dependent on what Mother Nature has in store for us!)

Thanks for the info!....I will be exploring all possibilities.....keep em comin ....
-
Bye Will-
Take care and be safe!

Hey mtnrgr-
Check your PM's....I wrote you back but it says that you haven't read it yet. Sorry to hear about your friend, well, I am torn between feeling more safe and feeling more sorry.
Cheers,
Anna

Since I'm going to be all by my lonesome living in the thriving metropolis of John Day, OR and going through friggin' helirappel boot camp for the next few weeks, I could use any
info on places to boulder, scramble, hike, bike, soak in hot springs, etc. in this
beautiful area. And if I can find some redneck to come out and climb with me, it would be cool
to find out about some climbing routes as well. I know that I will probably just get out
there and figure it out on my own....but.....if anyone has lived around here.....
TG, I was drinking too much Terminal Gravity to accurately take all your insightful suggestions down at Pub Club last week...let's see...something about The Strawberry Mountains?

Hey T, you're awesome! I am leaving on Thursday for good so maybe Wed. night? Do you think a trip to the columns could be in order before hand? Hell ya, unless it's pouring rain!

No one posted today about pub club p-town last night! I take it nothing earth-shattering happened after I left. It was great meeting all you folks who came! We will have to plan a pre-pub club shindig at Beacon's next time...after the summer of course!

Yah that too, I guess. Size not matter. Now back to the full rack dangling from the chest dream....
