Did a 20 mile MT bike ride from Roslyn Wa that included the Rat Pac trail. One of the guys broke his collar bone while trying to jump a water bar. RIDE THIS TRAIL WHILE YOU CAN!!!!! IT RULES!!!!! Used boots have the advantage of being broken in. I have had good luck with the 2 pairs I bought there. Go old school with leather liners. I don't think fabric inards can be repaired. They probebly be willing to work with you if the used boots didn't work out.

As of 2 years ago the trail from the White river to thunder basin had a brushy section and a few blow downs, other than that it was fine. There is a well used camp spot in the trees below Thunder basin.

Hawthorn sells used home stereos, don't know about car stuff. They are on Rosavelt Way NE south of 65th

Maybe there will be some info in the new guide book?

We did Clark Mountain to Thunder Creek. Some trail, some off trail when it disapeared. Had to crawl through blowdown. Found large hunters camp. Thundr creekk was too big to cross so we had to thrash up streem and cross a tributary before it was safe to cross. Getting in and out of Thunder basin is a crawl throuugh sliide alder. We saw 2 people in the 7 days we were out there in Augest. Great route. Don't remember seeing any other cars at the White river trailhead. HAVE FUN

Nice one, Dwayer. Had to ride fast on the way home to ditch some of the groupies. I can only handle 5 at once, any more and my housemates complain about the noise.

Ok, i would like to call this shindig for wed 6/12 at Magnison Park in Seattle. We have power, boat launch, shelter, beach and no cops. I hear the calls for the eastside, if you east siders want it over there more of you should speak up or have an eastside or Tacoma one on a different date. Questions, comments? Let's give it afew days to see what people think then we can set a definate time and place.
