Registration won't really solve anything.  I'm leaving up all the "guest" posts so we have an audit trail if we need to contact an ISP or employer.  If someone wants to risk losing their cable internet, DSL service, or employment, it's their choice.

    What's up with that?

  2. I'll report back tomorrow, I have already drank 3 peashooter ales, and am headed to happy hour th drink Dos XX on tap...unfortunately with clients or I might head to the newly refurbished schurman rock....

shoud be an excellent report.... cantfocus.gifcantfocus.gifcantfocus.gif

  3. I have a long history of different "Scents" from different beers. Rainier is by far the worst, even waking me from a dead sleep (and my poor girlfriend at the time).

Coors/Bud (insert nasty ass water beer here) is generally worse than your average micro brew.

I have also found that a Triple tall Mocha, can multiply the "stench" effect sometimes 3-5 times what it would normally be...

on a side, but related note.

I have noticed that if I eat taco bell, that my "smell" is that of the 6 or 7 tacos I ate...wierd.

thanks for the topic, those that know me know I enjoy a good poop/fart discussion.

  4. There are more places than the Alki on Alki.

    Pegasus- Outdoor seating- Pizza Beer

Dukes- Yuppie fuck fuck- Hard licks, and beer.

Salty's- Yuppie fuck fuck (yet tolerable on deck)

Bamboo Room (or something like that) Maybe Yuppie fuck fuck, New much outdoor seating and drinks.

Alki- close to boat launch, stinky, dirty taps, smokey, $1 burgers now.(inflation)

Several covered shelters in the park accross from the Alke Cafe/Bakery open until 11:30, seldom nazi like cops.

  5. I'm pretty sure you could pick up an Apple G4 Cube, or Imac fairly cheap.

Large heat sink, flow through design = NO FAN.

Although most PC user would have a hard time switching to a mac due to it's low learning curve, and intuitive Graphical User Interface... bigdrink.gifbigdrink.gifbigdrink.gifbigdrink.gifbigdrink.gif

  6. You can also look forward to purchasing:

The Big Jim Bedding Collection, Dining Sets, Limited Edition Serving Set, Everest Golf Shirts (featuring the Return to Everest Official Logo), Twill Mountaineering Pants and Jacket...... wave.gif

  7. It's been several years since I've been up the ledges, but I tend to think it is one of the best routes on the mountain. I also think that is is a better and faster route than the Ingraham.

The most popular time for the route is now through mid-late may, and it should be in pretty good shape right now, as long as the weather holds.

    Have fun. rockband.gif

Holy Cow! Talk about strong arm tactics.... bigdrink.gif

I guess since this whole war thing democracy is out...sheesh. mushsmile.gif

  9. I'm not too sure of the # of Harleys....for that I would vote the Alki, but I would point out that the parking at the Buckaroo (one of my favorite seattle bars) isn't that great.

What about having one downtown, Owl and Thistle style? mushsmile.gif

  10. But he said he did have a problem with it being instituted without proper public involvement and a fee-review process.

I believe that there were ample opportunities to attend public meetings in Tacoma, Seattle and Yakima. Those are the ones that I knew about, there may have been more on the East side. there were even several threads discussing this exact issue.

I think that $30 for a season pass is pretty good, and I will gladly pay. I also believe that "most" of the money funds the rangers, not the toilets (or removal of solid waste). And the last time I checked I still think you have to carry out your own shit on any route, so what difference does it make if it is a "dog" route or not?
