  1. Op order? Team Gander Mountain is past the Op Order stage. We are operating entirely on Frago's now. As for the porno stars...I can't believe you didn't think our service/support didn't already take care of that. The finest crack whores from Rainer Av. have already been contracted and will be awaiting the team's arrival in base camp. The team has gone all out and is sparing no expense...some of them even have all of their teeth. Maybe the team's official head gear should be the black beret. S
  2. Oh my no...being the professional expedition that it is TGM would not even consider using the "amateur" women from the Tilliscum or the Bulletstop area. Those women are the minor league. Our women are plucked straight off of Rainer Av. and E. Marginal Wy. They have earned the right to be titled "professional" women, and therefore have earned the right to be on the TGM expedition. They will also double as the team doctors and will dispense (when neccessary) the latest in high altitude "medicines".
  3. Danny-boy...your new job must not be challenging enough. It is obvious you have too much time on your hands. Tomorrow night we will test and designate the official team energy-rejuvinating beverage. Out.
  4. Since you are supplying all this great gear already b/c can I also get one of your "sleds" to haul this junk up in. I'm not talking about one of those kiddie sleds either...I want the one that will shoot up 70 degree slopes and make lots of noise. I already coordinated the Chinook to airlift it in. I also need the generator to power our TRS 80 for our trip reports. Oh yea...since Jeff is AWOL the name is officially DMS. We will be sure to uphold the standards of Team Gander Mountain however.
  5. I second "W"s suggestion of the Tahoma. You won't see anybody but mountain goats. If you want something with easier access and you want to go before mid to late June try Gibraltar Ledge. You can leave after all the DC crowds have left and still beat them to the top. You'll have awesome views of the Nisqually Icecliff, and a little exposure along the ledge. If you don't feel comfortable descending it (or the sun comes out and wakes up the rockfall gnomes)you can descend the DC and check out that side. Just go early enough so that you don't get caught up in any rockfall. Have fun!
  6. Just wondering who "W" is? I figure I've narrowed it down, hearing you talk about the Persson SAR and all. SeanHalling@hotmail.com
  7. Anybody ever use or own a Warmlite tent, www.warmlite.com? Just wondering what anybody thinks of them.
  8. Some of us have to work weekends and can't go to climbing festivals. Oh well when we are off during the week, at least we have no crowds. I hope the ice gods smiled on you.
  9. I believe it's actually spelled, "Who Us!"
  10. Ya but Dave you went, "back before it was hard." Didn't you get 3 meals a day and at least 6 hours of sleep a night. I heard your rucks were transported to the obj. via truck too. Better be careful Gen. Shinshecki may be listening. You keep that up you may get sent somewhere like Ft. Drum. Oh ya we all know you're a lifer! Do you have enough leave saved up for Denali? Or will you be on some peacekeeping mission? S
  11. Dugway in the summer of '98. Come on now...you mean '88. I was in desert phase in Nov. of 91 and I was in good ole' Bliss. I think desert phase in Dugway ended in '89 or '90. It's only too bad there were no waterfalls out there around Bliss...cause when I went it was cold enough to do some ice climbing. I remember we could never get H20 supplies at the water buffalos cause they were always frozen solid. It made you eager to patrol though, so you could warm up. Ah memories!
  12. Oops...this was supposed to be a reply at the other board where everyone was talking about Ranger School. Dave I know you must have gone in the summer.
  13. Last I heard Rosser is still at AAI. One of the guys I worked with on Rainier used to guide at AAI with Rosser. None of you must of gone to Ranger School in the winter. Dahlonega in Dec. is no fun when you can't eat or sleep, but watching hooah's trying to rappel with a buddy on their back down a ice-covered cliff without crampons is pretty interesting....unless you are the one who gets hurt and recycled I guess.
