jlag Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 (edited) Trip: Central Oregon - Da Chutes Date: 1/16/2007 Trip Report: Spent the last 4 days out at this spot. Finally found the easy access to the steeper lines. Lots of N. facing aspects to keep the powder nice and soft. Warmed up a bit yesterday so the E. facing stuff got a bit dense. Climbing up the ridge to gain the chutes was ICY. My friend got the poons and i got a tool. Easy after that. Had the entire bowl to myself on Sunday and then back out there yesterday with a friend. Gear Notes: Snowmo splitboard poon' and a tool Black Bush- if you don't know go find some. Approach Notes: Sled ride with a 40 minute skin to the top. Edited January 16, 2007 by jlag Quote
