jenlouie Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 What route are you thinking of doing? I did Glacier via the Gerdine/Cool/Disappointment Peak Cleaver (aka "standard" route) over July 4th weekend. The transition from the Gerdine and Cool was still mostly bridged at the time, although my leg did punch through to above my knee on one of the crossings. I would say that the glaciers will probably still be in good condition for you this weekend without too many navigation shenanigans. There is plenty of running water if you camp at Glacier Gap or on the White Chuck Glacier basin. Quote
