whits Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Looking for at least one other climber for Rainier DC next week. I would prefer to make a single push - weather permitting of course. Leave paradise thurs 7/31 around 6 pm and take our time getting to Muir, make some coffee, grab a snack, dump some extra gear and head to the top around 12-1 am. I climbed the DC route in June in great weather. Went up last week and climbed to Muir at sunset. Was super tranquil climbing under the stars in the cool temps - makes the slog up to Muir tolerable. I want to climb thurs-fri and get back home for the weekend. I have all the gear necessary .. competent and safe climber .. would be willing to take some weight off my partner's pack. I know it's kind of short notice, but the weather is looking great! Who's with me? -SW Quote
