Looks like my sub-alpine bivy kit will be changing. All you need is some epoxy, plastic tubing, and a clamp!

Sweet! Although at a 4 liter per day flow rate you may be sitting there for a while waiting. Good for after the apocalypse though, nice find!

Providing only 4 liters a day is quite slow, but you could potentially use something bigger instead of the small 1 cm price of branch they used, and use a bottle or something else plastic, like a pringles container.
