kevino Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Just moved to wenatchee...where do you locals go for trail runs around here? My roommate told me about a few spots but they all seem to come with the warning of don't run here during the winter or when its muddy. Working at the hospital and live in East wenatchee if that helps with suggestions. Willing to drive on off days. THANKS. Quote
dfrost Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I'd go here and talk to Adam Vognild; I met him a few years back running in the Methow, and I'm sure he'd be happy to show you the local haunts... http://theinnercirclegym.com/ Quote
telemarker Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Saddle rock is the most obvious. The trails around the Peshastin pinnacles. Let's crag this spring if you get some free time mid week! Quote
Tokogirl Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 With all this snow there aren't as many options. The irrigation ditch is a good place to run in Wenatchee right now. We were going up to Appleatchee when it was colder and not so muddy. I would suggest going to the RunWenatchee website. Quote
kevino Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 Been hitting the trails since I'm on my off stretch from the hospital Good stuff so far, thanks for the tips. Unrelated, anyone have a dynafit jig I can use? Quote
kevino Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 In case any local reads this, is burch mountain road always gated? Or just until its not longer muddy? For those wondering...road gets drifted in with snow about 4 miles in. Quote
