WillieG Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Imagine car camping with your fiance and two dogs in a 3p tent. Now imagine sleeping with two of your best buds in the same tent in high winds on a snowfield at 11k'. WHAT DO YOU BUY? I don't know, and I worked in a retail store for a few years. I like Big Agnes. Heard the Copper Spur series got good reviews. I've always been impressed with MSR and obviously Exped. Not so much with Kelty, Sierra Designs, etc. I'll protect the floor when the dogs use it, so no worries about fragility. The lady doesn't need much space ... she likes cozy tents with low ceilings. Better for wind when I do take it up top, right? Eeeeexxcelent. If you have a 3p that you love, that is low profile, and has that extra pole you need to keep things quiet in the wind, please pass along the rec. We're registering for gifts, and I plan on using this to my mountaineering advantage. I am not a weight freak. Quote
JasonG Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 If cost is no object, you can't go wrong with Hilleberg. I think both the Nallo or Nammatj are excellent, depending on your needs. Quote
