My family has two foster boys, ages 5 & 8, and I would like to buy a harness or two so I can get them on a top rope at a local public climbing wall. I have been told that the movement of rock climbing would be therapeutic for them. I know it's therapeutic for me! :) Does anyone have a gently used kids size harness that they aren't using anymore?

It is therapeutic for kids but it is also a little bit of a head game (performance anxiety and people often watching). Break them in very gently

I would highly recommend going to a climbing gym for their first experiences which is also a place to get excellent information on gear.

In climbing, think accessing experience and knowledge instead of cheap until you know the ropes.
