Seattle ---> Ice Climbing?

I'm in Everett and am just waiting for the ice to come in. Had one unsuccessful trip to N Joffre Creek looking for ice already this season, and read some TRs of other peoples similar experience ... so I think I'll wait until its def cold enough for the ice form.

Yeah, I bet it's mid->late Jan before it's "in" up there. I'm headed to Ouray in Jan... but when I get back, I'm interested in going up to Snoqualmie Pass...

I love climbing out there. Climbing chair peak, new york gulley, and possibly pineapple express are some of my goals this year. I would really love to attempt triple couloirs this winter as well. Let me know when you are interested to go out.

Headed off to Ouray for the festival. My fourth year up there. Mostly taking clinics and doing 5 days with IMG for fun. Probably get out on camp bird, maybe up near red mountain pass... stuff like that. Maybe silverton if I can hitch a ride from some folks. Really looking forward to getting back to the San Juans.

Looking to climb ice the 28th-31st (get off work afternoon of the 27th and would be driving all night to climb on the 28th). I am able to drive as far as Montana or Canadian Rockies. Otherwise I will probably be in the area over the same period of time and would love to get into Snoqualmie Pass ice.
