FS Cannondale Tandem - 1993 - $1500

We have decided to sell our tandem due to an injury and general need for cash. We are asking 1500. but any realistic offers may be considered.

Well loved it and its in great shape, it is a mountain frame set, set up for road, a solid bike that was used for riding centuries.

 

In storage for a long time so a little dusty, I need to retape bars and tweak a few things but otherwise perfect condition.

 

Because my wife and I are different heights we opted to modify a mountain frame set with road components. this bike is solid and fast!

Seat tube Front - 50 cm center to top of seat tube.

Rear - 43cm to top of seat tube.

I already have a tandem but that looks like a sweet setup. Does it have 26'' rims, then?

 

I saw a couple on a mtb tandem in bend this summer, they were tearing shit UP

Yup, 26" wheels, we never took it off road as that always sounded super dicy But I guess dirt roads would be cool, I have seen pics/vids of peeps riding technical terrain but yikes, that requires some focus. I am just content to bang out 100/200 miles and just be a zombie :0

yeah, they were super coordinated and had their timing DOWN. On the steeps she would leap off and run along side the bike, pushing it, while he pedaled, and then she would leap back on at the top without even stopping. Super impressive.

 

My girlfriend told me that would never happen, though.
