Buckaroo Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 looking for a urethane coated non-breathable hooded rainjacket. The cheapie kind, thin and lightweight. Prefer off the shelf in Seattle area. There used to be an Outdoors and More store near the downtown REI. They sold a Helly-Hansen like this but they are no longer there and H-H doesn't show it on their website. Quote

Tyson.g Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Sierra Designs Microlight. REI sells them for cheap. +1 I have been using one or an older model for a few years. Quote
jopc Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Check out the Outdoor Research Rampart jacket. Quote
Buckaroo Posted August 5, 2012 Author Posted August 5, 2012 The Sierra Designs gets bad reviews for water resistance but hits my weight requirement. Don't know if I want to compromise, this is primarily to keep dry. The O.R. is a layered material, too heavy at 13.5 oz which is the same as what I have now. Quote
