Hi all,

I'm going to have some bonus days after a Rainier attempt with my friends, but they all have to bail and I'll be solo from June 20-25. Hoping to hook up with someone for part/all of that trip.

I'm coming from Baltimore, MD, and this will be my first foray into bigger mountains. I'm an experienced rock climber and backpacker, but just getting my feet wet in mountaineering, so ideally looking for some moderate (technically) climbs to do.

I'd appreciate advice on objectives and partners or groups that wouldn't mind an extra climber. Thanks!

I am free that weekend of the 22nd-24th. Let me know if you don't find anything else. Drop me a line and I would be happy to get out and climb something.

I'm semi planning a climb on mt ellinor. Its a very small peak in the olympics but offers some nice beginner alpine experience. Crampons and ice axe needed. Because of the short distance to summit Ellinor, I'm thinking about doing traverse to Mt Washington and bag 2 summits in 1 day. Washington is a bit more technical but nothing too hard.

Drive out and camp on the 20th and climb on the 21st, car to car.
