  1. I work retail so weekends are no good for me. It's been hard to get out with my climbing friends working traditional schedules. Looking for partner for alpine and rock. I have a full trad rack and rope. Can lead up to 5.9 trad/5.10c sport and follow 11s. Not as experienced with alpine but educated. I but did BCEP with Mazamas a few years back and have gear. Spent most of my time on rock the past few years. Looking to do a lot more alpine this year; hood, broken top, adams, thielsen, forbidden peak, unicorn/pinnacle. Im a 28yo male in Vancouver. Let me know if you want to climb!
  2. Looking for a weekday climbing partner in the Portland area. All my climbing friends work mon-fri and I work weekends. I've been climbing for 4 years, sport for 2. Just now getting into trad. Have complete trad rack and looking to get on some easy mixed climbs for now and harder climbs later. 11s are rough, 10s are good, and 9s are great. Climbing ozone, broughton, bulo point, frenches, smith, ect. Im a 26yo male in Vancouver WA.
  3. Anyone know of any good safe winter alpine routes? I'm in the Portland area and havent really thought about winter routes until this year. Pretty much getting sick of waiting for spring to roll around. Perferrably routes that demand the basic mountaineering skills (rope teams, crampons, ice axe, ect) as I am still learning the more technical skills (trad gear, complex anchors, ect). Thanks in advance!
  4. I'm semi planning a climb on mt ellinor. Its a very small peak in the olympics but offers some nice beginner alpine experience. Crampons and ice axe needed. Because of the short distance to summit Ellinor, I'm thinking about doing traverse to Mt Washington and bag 2 summits in 1 day. Washington is a bit more technical but nothing too hard. Drive out and camp on the 20th and climb on the 21st, car to car. Shoot me an email if your interested. KJS140000@yahoo.com -Kyle

  7. Looking for some weekday alpine climbing partners for this season. I'm 24, male, in great shape, and an avid hiker/rock climber. I work in retail and my weekends are black out days. I also recently completed the Mazamas BCEP class. A few climbs I'm looking at this year: Hood, Adams, Middle Sister, Thielsen, ect. Shoot me a PM or call/text if you have any suggestions. 360-433-1817. -Kyle

Just let me know. And yes for sure on mt st helens if you can still get a pass. I havent checked recently so Im not sure if theres any left. Let me know as well and we'll go from there.
  9. Alright cool. You said the weekend of the 19-21st and that would be a mon tue wed if it was september that you wanted to do it. Were you meaning the weekend of the 23-25th in september or are you wanting to do it in august? Theres another guy that wants to do it the weekend of the 23-25th in september from summit post. You interested?
  10. Sounds like a plan to me. That should work out just fine. Are you wanting to do 2 days on south spur?
  11. I'm no advanced mountaineer but I am an avid hiker and have some rock climbing experience. I will be doing st helens on september 7th and would love to bag adams as well before winter. Looking to see if anyone wants to summit via 2 day on south spur. Perferrably camp around the 8k mark to avoid the wind. Anyone interested?
