InlanderJoe Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Hi there: I'm curious in getting in touch with anyone who has sited caribou up in Northeastern Washington or on the Idaho side. How rare is it to find them? And will anybody be going on a trip up into NE Wash or the Selkirks in April? Quote
Jim Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Good luck with that one. I spend the better part of two recent summers along the Pend Oreille River near the border on field work - not a siting. They apparantly are pretty wary and uncommon. I did speak to some hunters up there who occassionally saw one. You never know. Did see wolves and a lynx swimming across the river! Quote
