JayB Posted November 7, 2002 Posted November 7, 2002 The way I'm reading the surf forecasts for 11/8 is looks like they're predicting 50-60 foot faces on the waves for a few hours. Is that for real? Or did I just misread the data in a massive way? Quote
Uncle_Tricky Posted November 9, 2002 Posted November 9, 2002 The wave size for this swell peaked at 49 ft with a 20 second wave period. That's huge. Here's some pain being doled out by waves half that size. PS. He survived this journey to the bottom of the ocean, but died the next year. Uncle_Tricky Posted November 9, 2002 Posted November 9, 2002 BTW: Anyone want to go surfing on Monday and/or Tuesday? Certain spots on the Olympic Peninsula will be protected from the predicted Southerly winds and should be firing. Drop me a pm if interested.
