relocated ice climber seeking ice partner

Hi all,

 

Seeing the latest photos on the Washington ice conditions thread made me start to salivate. I've climbed ice in upstate NY, South Africa (yes, there is climbable ice there), and the Columbia river gorge but am lacking ice climbing partners up here. I have the gear minus ice ropes or ice screws and have the rope management skills for double ropes. And I'm keen to get out there! Give me a shout at bridgester5 AT gmail, thanks

there's a load of us on the East side, centered around Wenatchee. theres climbable ice in Icicle Canyon right now, and a low enough snowpack that alpine projects are still accessible... lemmee know if that interests you.
