OlympicMtnBoy Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 I got this online, couldn't find one locally to try on. It turns out it doesn't fit my head that well. I have a smaller head and usually wear a small Petzl Elios and this one just feels too big for me even with the suspension adjusted right. It's BRAND NEW in the box with tags! Never worn outside. I really like the way it combines a thicker plastic shell with the fall protection of a foam liner and is still fairly light weight. I just wish they made a small or used a slightly different head shape for me. - Vastly increased protection of a full EPS liner with the durability of a hard ABS shell - Provides dual protection from rock fall as well as impacts sustained during a fall - 80% of head injuries are sustained by falling - Exceptional ventilation to keep you cool - One size: 21"- 23.5" (53.5 - 60 cm) - Weight: 13.4 oz. (380 g) - UIAA/CE certified - MSRP: $67.95 http://www.metoliusclimbing.com/helmet.html CC.com price is $50 local (Seattle) or $55 shipped. - OMB Quote
