devan Posted March 16, 2011 Share Posted March 16, 2011 Hey all, I am trying to pull a overnight trip and early morning summit of Hood's south side when the weather and avalanch conditions permit in the next 3 weeks or so. Has anyone been camping up near Hogsback? Is there certain places you all recommend for places to make a ledge? Also, has anyone been up there recently to see the condition of the bergschrund? This time of the season is it recommended to go around it or is there a pretty stable bridge that forms over the winter? I appreciate any information I can get.
