DMac Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 These are the Montrail Moraine leather boot. I've had these leather boots for about 10 years. I recently upgraded to a newer boot (La Sportiva Nepal EVOs) for a Mt. Rainier attempt last summer, so I no longer use/need these. The Vibram soles are still in great shape and have many years left in them. They are size US Men's 11. I added new red laces, as the old ones were wearing thin and starting to fray. These boots have some wax on them already, however you might want to put some more on the boots depending on your usage (rain or snow hiking). Quote
OlympicMtnBoy Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Great heavy backpacking/snow slogging boot! My old ones took me to the top of Mt. Elbrus in Russia as well as Mt. Olympus here and many other scrambly peaks. Quote
