runningrock Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 (edited) 30 Meter Swing Minstral paraglider. Used for ground handling but now have a couple other wings I like to use more. Still pretty crispy, and flies pretty well. No air worthiness cert on it since I have only used it for ground handling and training. Nice lines, good bridals... Lots of uses...car covers? Lots of little hammocks or 1 giant hammock? Enough rip stop to sew a million stuff sacks? Great ground handling trainer. If you only look at 100_250, it will show the shear size of this wing, 30 meters! 125$ plus shipping NT runningrock (at) hotmail . com or PM me Edited November 9, 2010 by runningrock Quote
Water Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 wow seems cheap!!! how much does it weigh (for shipping?) btw is it 30 meters or 30 foot? 30meters = 98 feet. doesn't look like 98 foot long, but i could be wrong Quote
runningrock Posted November 7, 2010 Author Posted November 7, 2010 (edited) This is square meters of surface area. All paragliders are measured in this way. Most paragliders fall somewhere in the 25-30 meter area depending on pilot "all-up" weight. I've never measured it but I would guess it is a 45 feet wingspan or so. It's a little heavy, I'd offer a flat rate of $25 shipping and I cover the rest. It would be shipped using UPS. NT Edited November 7, 2010 by runningrock Quote
Water Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 ahh i wondered if the measurement was area but didn't know enough about them to be sure. thanks for clarification Quote
