Alpinsanity Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Anybody on here live in the Puget Sound area, have a snowmobile, and a ride a splitboard? A few of us are looking to find people interested in accessing the BC via snowmobile, and splitting/climbing up for some nice runs this season. Skiers are welcome as well. Hit me up with a PM, if you are into this sort of thing. Quote
Woodcutter Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 ah yes - I know that feeling, the one where you don't want to split 10 miles in to start climbing. I do ride a split, but do not own a sled - I have thought about it but couldn't handle the mechanical breakdowns on the cheapie sled I'd end up with. I did think it may be easier to get hold of the CleElum snowmobile group and throiw down some cash for a tow into wherever you want to ride & then skin out at the end of the day. ...then again, those long slogs in do keep you on a wholesome vibe. Where are you thinking about sledding into? Quote
Alpinsanity Posted October 19, 2010 Author Posted October 19, 2010 Mostly be hitting the gold creek area at Snoqualmie, but open to whatever. I bought a used sled, and yes, it's a money pit, but hopefully worth it with no lift tickets, no lift lines, and tons of untracked powder. Quote
fredrogers Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 There are a few of us splitty/bilers in Mazama. Worth the drive for sure. Get in touch via PM if interested. Quote
Alpinsanity Posted October 19, 2010 Author Posted October 19, 2010 Thanks...will do, if I can make it out that way. Quote
