swezeyt Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Trip: South America, Red Rocks and Bugaboos - Date: 8/16/2010 Trip Report: I just finished writing up trip reports for South America, Red Rocks and the Bugaboos on my blog Trevor's Climbing Blog. If you're interested check it out. I'm also trying to catch up and write about what I've been up to this summer. So stay tuned. I tried to post pictures, but was unsuccessful. Sorry. In South America I spent time in Frey, Cochamo (the Yosemite of SA) and Fitz Roy. It was my first time there and I can't wait to go back. While in Red Rocks I was able to climb Cloud Tower, Levitation 29, Epinephrine, Ixtlan, Triassic Sands and do a bunch of sport cragging. I also made it over to St. George Utah and Indian Creek for a little while. In the Bugaboos I climbed Energy Crisis and the NE Ridge of Bugaboo. We almost got crushed by a boulder the size of a small school bus. Very scary. Gear Notes: Heavy Approach Notes: Planes, cars and buses Quote
