Rafael_H Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Hey, Canadian friends, should I come to Squamish for Angel's Crest/Rock On/Ultimate on Sat anf Grand Wall stuff on Sun, or better stay in WA. I am afraid north side of the Chief is wet. What about Apron? Thank you!!! Quote
G-spotter Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Actual weather will be worse that forecast, expect periods of rain both days. Quote
Rafael_H Posted June 11, 2010 Author Posted June 11, 2010 Thanks, D. Is that a norm nowadays? I recall, years ago, Squamish proper weather was better than f-cast. Quote
jmace Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 AC/UE/RO are all wet, its been spittig all day today. You have a 30% chance of a shower for sqmsh Sunday morning, I dont think this is advertised anywhere yet. Actually TWN, which is crap, has latched on to something for Sudnay, I cant imagine much more than a quick shower Sunday morning..but that may take the grand out of the picture for you http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/cabc0279?ref=topnav_homepage_savedcity I would stay if I was u and wait for a better weekend, or at least one where it hasnt been raining for days beforehand. That being said that will be plenty of climbable rock this weekend, long routes highly doubtful. Try the butress maybe good luck Quote
