image formating

I'm pretty useless on the computer. Trying to post trip report photos. We used an iPhone(Iknow lame, but better than the camera we forgot). Is there a way to re-format these from bmp to jpeg or other acceptable format to upload?

yes there is. I'm not sure what image editing programs you have on your computer but feasibly you have some software that came with your digital camera. If you can open the BMP you can likely save it as a jpg/jpeg which would allow it to be uploaded here.

 

in whatever program you will probably have to do such a process as:

open > save as > select file type (jpg), save.
