threeladsdad Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Anybody have any sage advice on anticipated conditions of the Mt. Maude North face route describe in Nelson/Potterfield for late september this year? Will there be any of the snow/ice left or would it be gullies full of ball bearing and bowling balls? Quote
Sol Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I haven't been up there but it's usually gone by mid august most years. Quote
jshamster Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 I did it in September a few years back. The route was not quite continuous, with one section of mud and rock climbing. Approaching the route from the Maude/7 Finger Jack col was not that fun, what with all of the falling rock. I had fun, but I bet it's a lot better earlier season. Cheers. Jimbo Quote
