Mt Shasta Conditions

I was thinking about heading down to Shasta over Memorial Day weekend. I was wondering if anyone knew what the conditions were like; specifically where the snow level is at going up the Avalanche Gulch route. We were thinking of skinning up to at least the bivy site, but I've never been there, so I don't know how well that works out. Thoughts?

There's snow all the way down to Bunny Flat TH as of last weekend.
