n47w122 Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 I bought my first pair of plastic boots recently, since it was a great deal. Wore them for the first time winter camping last weekend, and they were great for that, never got cold feet. But I already have a little rust on a couple of the metal rivets on the inside of the boot. Any recommendations on how to treat that? Careful application of a little steel wool and a little WD40? Or is there a better way to care for these? Thanks! Quote
genepires Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 I would think that it won't matter if there is a little rust on it. It is on the inside so it should rub off next time you use them. Hopefully they get used so much the rust never stays on for long. Should probably dry out the liners after each trip to keep the "funk" from growing at least. Quote
