jesselillis Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I've got some time to climb mid-late March- ideally some longer ice routes (maybe interspersed with some alpine). Thinking of the Canadian Rockies, Hyalite or down around Ouray (or maybe RMNP). Any recommendations? Quote
marc_leclerc Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 What is RMNP?? Rount Mainier National Park?? What a spoonerism..! Quote

Alex Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Mid-late march is generally already the end of the season for the Canadian Rockies; I've had a fantastic trip 3rd week in March, and I've been rained out 4-days-in-a-row third week in March, so watch Gravsports for ice conditions and watch the weather. If the weather here locally in the PNW is remotely any good, late March is perfect ski touring and alpine climbing season. Quote
