Trip: Hemlock Valley :: Flake Crushing - In the Trees

Trip Report:

My buddy Erik and I did a short tour next to the Hemlock Valley "Resort" trying to get some freshies. The lack of a large base made the tour up a bit difficult as a number of shrubs and small trees were still exposed. I would wait for another meter of snow before attempting something in this area. That said the snow was fantastic and we did a quick yo yo to get a few extra turns in.

You should hit up Manning. Heimlich Valley is the worst skiing in the valley!

Yeah we had a time constriction so it really limited our options. I'm just learning what winter options are available within an hour of Abby.

emlock was fun last year with the shit loads of snow we had... usually its like skiing water ice......
