crazy_t Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 (edited) The tent and fly are in great shape, one single pole section and the peg at the bottom of it needs to be replaced (it's currently "rigged" so it works fine but you'll want to make the fix). The Trango 3.1 is a phenomenal tent for winter camping and expedition mountaineering. Bomber in major winds. 3 person tent but are very sweet for 2 people, as it gives each person plenty of room. Good headroom, plenty of storage pockets/areas inside. There's a "moonlight" type opening and clear panel at the top. Has guye lines already attached, and come w/10 stakes, although where it's going rocks or snow anchors tend to be used more often. 4-5 years old, has seen 2 Aconcagua trips and a few days at altitude in Mexico, but other than that not a lot of use and well cared for. New retails for $575, and the footprint for $50. Happy to answer questions and show you how to set it up if you do end up buying. The tent needs 1 new pole section and a "peg" for the bottom of that section to click into the grommet. Should be a pretty easy fix.
