Where can I buy a cheap hangboard?

I made one out of a length of 4x6 using a combination of various sizes of paddle and forstner drill bits and a router with a variety of round-over bits. If you drill through, you can use strips of emery paper or sanding belts to further smooth the thing. With a coat of exterior texture paint-the kind with sand in it- you've got something very useful.

You can buy the metolius board that is in my garage for 25 amerrican dollars if you come get it. Its a few years old but still can break your tendons.

instead of buying texture paint, jsut throw in some sand into some cheapo paint you have lying around...i did that on the plywood of a climbing wall and it worked out ok...
