Shopping for a beacon in Portland...

I need a new avy beacon. And I pretty much need it right now.

Which shop in Portland has the best selection? I'm hoping to not drive all over town.

Probably the Mountain shop (around NE 6th & Broadway) or OMC (around NE 29th & Sandy) are gonna be your best bet.

 

Edit: just checked the websites, and it looks like OMC should have a couple different models. I didn't find any on mountainshop site, but their website isn't really useful or accurate, so they might actually have some in the store ..

 

Edit again: REI carries at least one model, but probably not currently on the shelves in the store. Probably best to call each store (OMC, Mountain shop, or downtown REI) to see if any of them have them in stock)

I've also been checking online for what local shops have. Looks like OMC will be the best bet (look likes they've moved since the last time I was there). REI usually seems pretty limited with what they have in stock. Never been to Mountain Shop (I ain't from 'round here), may have to check it out anyway.

I just wanted some local input on the subject.
