Never been there but heard the snow is great. Any advice on time of year to go or not to go?

 

Same for accomodations and any possible lift ticket deals?

I was just down there and managed to find a pretty good $39 hotel in Bend. It's the sugarloaf mountain hotel, on the north end of town on hwy97. Keep your eyes peeled on the east side of the hwy just after you start getting into town. If you're dirt baggin, you can camp all over the place up near the mountain.
