underground ice climbing

jeep world of adventure sports on universal HD channel (ch 660 seattle) has a cool show on right now with Will Gadd climbing crazy underground ice in an abandoned mine. It is wild overhanging super old ice. flip it on now, or catch it on a repeat. i think some clips from it were posted on the web a few months back, but there is a bunch more in the show.

I think it was in the Banff show too although not one of the one's shown in Seattle. There was a write-up in their glossy program. Who wants to go check out some WA mines this winter?

Be sure to mention the 2,000 lb block of ice that nearly fell on Will. The only thing more dangerous than mines and ice climbing is ice climbing in a mine. I think I'll pass.
