summerprophet Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Heey there, likely posted this in the wrong area, but couldn't find a better spot. Is there a way to search forums for a specific topic? It gets raterh tiring to scroll through all the posts, when all I want is a specific thing. I have been unsuccessful in finding one, but perhaps I am just blind. J. Quote
Bug Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 I the tool bar, third from the right is the search function. When you get into that, Select the forum in the combo box o the left, type the topic/words you want to search on and select "in Subject" if you want to search titles only and "in subject and body" to search in the body of the posts too. Make sure you specify a pertinent date range Quote
chucK Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 (edited) Try clicking on "Search" (upper right area of screen), or perhaps "Forum List" (upper left center part of screen) Sometimes Google works a lot better than the cc.com search function. Use "Advanced search" in Google then limit the search to the domain cascadeclimbers.com Edited November 8, 2007 by chucK Quote
Bug Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Google is even better for many internal msft searches. Icredible search algorythm. Quote
