anyone been to Mout Logan Canada St. Elias range

Went there in April 1994 to the Trench as a relatively inexperienced climber. Took vast amounts of stuff and dragged it all over the place.

 

Worst weather I have ever experienced. Very cold. Very, very large snowfalls. We made onto the summit plateau, then bailed.

 

Also, an amazing place in scale and beauty and solitude. We were on our own for the better part of three weeks before another party flew in. The big peaks are separated by much broader icefields than the Alaska Range. Pretty unique. PM if you'd like.
